   Sure, try open office, basically same as star office except the
proprietary Sun code was removed and the gnu programmers re-wrote it.
   I am using it, I like it, BUT it will only print to a postscript
printer, so I installed ghostscript the postscript emulator and not
only does it not work, lpr is also dead.
   I E-mail all of my Word and Excel files home and the open them and
I can edit them and send them back and they look and print like
original M$ created files. (I had to add the TT font `Comic Sans MS'),
because I use it to fill out my some of forms at work.
