Thanks Logan - I just tried it but since its RH I had to move the
xeroxv5 entry into ect/printcap.local. Stop/start lpd. Fired up the RH
printool and neither lp nor lp| xeroxv5 appeared. Opened a file and went
to "print", neither lp nor lp|xeroxv5 appeared. lp does appear in the
LaserJet control panel and the Print Job Adminstration tool. Went to
shell:

# lpstat lp
JetDirect lpd: no entries
#lp stat xeroxv4 (a previously created queue)
JetDirect lpd: no entries
#

System seems to think that this lpd queue is a JetDirect queue.

I'm out of ideas.
