Geez, thanks Paul. Talk about pressure... ;)

For a little while after I first got it, I had been trying to save shows
from my TiVo to tape, but when I went back to watch them, the quality of
VHS is so low compared even to the broadcast-quality the TiVo captures,
I couldn't stand it.

I know it'll never happen thanks to the RIAA/MPAA Coalition Of Removing
Consumers' Rights To Use Anything They See, Hear Or Read, but I'd love
to see a TiVo/ReplayTV with a DVD burner in it.

I can't even buy tapes anymore. If it's not broadcast or on DVD, I
don't watch it.

The next big question for me, though, is: how is my TiVo going to
support HDTV? I don't think it can, and that bothers me slightly. I'd
rather not be forced to upgrade here in a few years when HDTV is
mandatory.
