Well, the plastic zif socket itself has been ripped from the board, but the pins on the board seem intact. This was a Socket A board, btw, an MSI MS-6390. There doesn't seem to be any damage to the circuitry or the insulation. I was almost hoping that I could use a small amount of something like epoxy to re-secure the socket.
