[SLUG] [Fwd: Program in KDE popup menu disappears for other user - why?]

As root, Star Office appears as an icon in the KDE popup menu that is
displayed when left clicking the "K" icon in the lower left corner of
the CRT. If logged as regular user it doesn't appear in the same menu.

What controls the presence of program icons in this menu (for each
user)?
