I also have a BEFSR41 and have never really had any issues with it other
then since it has been gaining in popularity, LinkSys has been releasing
the firmware upgrades as a Windows executable on the main site. The
needed files are available in their ftp for the rest of us at
ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pub/befsr41/

There are quite a few on ebay for less then $50 - It's well worth it.
