I agree, for those of us comfortable with scanning source code. But for
most people, this is just beyond their ken. People sometimes ask me if
you have to be a programmer to do Linux. The answer is "no", but it sure
does help sometimes.

Of course, I imagine if people didn't scream to high heaven, Microsoft
would never write a word of documentation. That's part of the problem
here-- no one's paying anyone to write docs.
