What I haven't quite figured out, though, is why no one places a premium on
well written documentation within the community...if people like working
code, why wouldn't they like working documentation? I realize the Linux
Documentation Project is making that effort, but it's surprising that more
people haven't stepped up to the plate...

For my part, I am working on documentation (but not quite yet) by taking what
other people are writing to me to answer my questions about a new Content
Management System called Plone (http://plone.org) that's based on Zope.
Yesterday I submitted 10 different minor change requests for the Plone docs
(missing commas, bad spellings, etc), and I'll be doing more of that in the
future.
