OK....I thought blogs and web-based discussions were quite different.. I am
not much on it..
but you are the first person that I have heard the is aggressively against
slashdot and the like.

you could just use your favorite text editor and paste.

you have already used your favorite text editor, you can save it and use
"grep"

you can use a website update utility...to check for new content...they do a
pretty good job.

and for the record, I don't even use blogs...I never have enough to say...I
have posted a few comments on slashdot but thats about it...
Like I said, if people in the group who are not violently against this I
would be willing to host it. I think it would be a great place for slug
members to post the progress on projects or the like that they are
working...information that is usefull but not materail that you would normal
send on this list ( as the guy who orginally post the webblog idea said).
