Yes, it is working for me.
Make sure in httpd.conf, the .php files are parsed as php scripts. Here
are some key points in the httpd.conf:
DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.html.var
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html
if you want all .html files to be parsed as php then add the .html to the
line above.
