At this time, this configuration is considered secure. There are no known
vulnerabilities in ntp version 4.1.x. There was a root exploit of version 4.0
a couple of years ago. The possibility of future exploits being found is
always there so, it is always a good idea to keep your system up to date.

grep /var/log/messages for ntpd to find your version.
