[SLUG] Help Mozilla won't save settings.

I seem to have a problem with Mozilla 1.3 on Debian (woody) not saving
my history. Can anyone tell me what I need to check and what permissions
I need for my mozilla profile in order to get the history to save? I've
even tried createing another profile and duplicating the settings for my
user id, but the history is not saved.
