[SLUG] Alias my Loopback?

Hi all

Background:
I have a laptop running RH 8.0 with Apache, MySQL and PHP. I test and
develop on it.

Problem:
Okay I have several little web projects running on my laptop. Here's
the thing. Many of them want to be at the Document Root of the Apache
server.

So I figure, I'll create virtual hosts and set up different Document
Roots for each of them...right? So I have multiple choices for virtual
hosts.I can have an IP based or a name based. However, both require an
IP address.

Well before I can do that I have to alias the IP address...Right?

Well, since they would all be pointing at 127.0.0.1 (localhost) Do I
alias my loopback? I see lots of how-to's that explain how to set up
aliasing with eth0 but not lo.

So am I just misunderstanding or do I need to do something different?

Regards
Russ
