[SLUG] debian on an nforce 1 motherboard.

I recently installed libranet 2.8 (debian w/ a nice installer) on an asus
nforce1 based motherboard.
this has everything integrated, video (geforce2mx) lan and sound. I have the
video and sound working fine, but I can't get the onboard NIC to work.
whenever I try to install the drivers from nvidia's website I get errors
with the nvnet module. redhat9 works on this board BTW, but I can't figure
out how to get it working with debian.

Any ideas?
