Thanks all.

Sorry but as usual I did not phrase the question exactly the way I was
thinking at the time I wrote the question.

What I was really trying to do was figure out how to get rid of it easily.

Unfortunately I don't think it is possible to improve on my current filter
system with the tools I am currently using. I could go to a more elaborate
set up but the volume of trash doesn't warrant that.
