It's called "spoofing". Aside from BCCing you a copy, there is also the
issue of the _envelope_. Like snail mail letters, email has an envelope.
The "To" you see in the header may have little to do with the actual
recipient on the envelope. But the email itself is routed in accordance
with the envelope.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this.
