Reason this probably happened is that the dock actually has different then
internal hardware thus it litterly changes the hardware configuration once
docked
You may have to go back and reinstall and configure while docked first.

Then if there is a profile section you have to create a undocked profile. I
have had to do this before with dells and I am sure the thinkpad is the same
option.
Most people who posted on the site with the laptop configurations do not do
this in a docked mode when they post their setups.
