I've gotten a couple of good pro leads, through the list and elsewhere,
in the Sarasota/Bradenton area, and will be talking to them and checking
their facilities, equipment, and reels shortly.

The thing is, I have a dececnt hi-8 digital camcorder myself, and a fair
amount of editing experience. But I'm a "bang it out" news guy, and I
want someone who is a little more artful.

This isn't hard stuff technically, especially since I'll be the only
character and will provide my own script. Some talking head, lots of
screen shots with voiceover, simple cuts/wipes, and since I have lots of
speaking experience and an "easy"' voice, it won't need a lot of takes
or audio massaging.

Basically a 1/2 day shoot and a day's editing and titling by someone
with a high skill level, and it'll be good to go.

And yes, I have a backer, so this is a paid gig. :)

Thanks,

- Robin
