(Coming to this thread late...) I don't mean to bash RH, as I think they are
good for enterprise, and for getting Linux out there in the mainstream, and
for suing SCO. But....I think that getting this beyond quality control isn't
the issue. I think it may have been done on purpose to "convince" people to
opt for the paid support that RH needs to live. Maybe Fedora is simply a way
to continue the libre tradition, and a way to keep RH close to its roots, and
not alienate people who don't want to contribute to a commercial distro ...
