Nope, it isn't just you. Home or enterprise, I think RedHat is a mediocre
distribution at best.
The broken perl in RedHat 9 was the most recent outrage for me (not
because I use RedHat personally, but among many other packages, it breaks
a piece of software I work on). I'm dumbfounded that such a major issue
made it past release quality control.
