To set the xterm fonts from the command line you can type:
xterm -fn <font>
To interactively change fonts:
Ctrl + Third Mouse Button
Or you can build a .xtermrc and include the line:
XTerm*font: <font>
The command xlsfonts will provide a list of available fonts you can use.
