1024x768@16bit needs 1.5MB minimum.

Somebody else commented about a high CPU-not-idle percentage. Were this

when you were running different software? The load average does not
reflect the amount of time spent in interrupts (such as the video driver,
or USB, or serial port, or parallel port, etc.). One of the CPU states
(system?) may. Yours is low, so no worries there.

Well, W2K may have a faster video driver. Are there any options as to
