Matt,

I've built and run MythTV, briefly, on my home video server. Having also
looked at Freevo around the same time, I like their codebase a bit
better. Both have varying features the other does not.

This is a long term project for a few of us here as well... having a
hacked Tivo is the only thing that has stopped me thus far from really
adopting one of these OSS projects.

Add MAME to this, and you have yourself a real time sink.

Who really has free time to watch TV anymore anyway?
