Correct ... IMAP needs to be turned on in the Exchange Server configuration.
Same goes for OWA (Outlook Web Access), which I believe Kmail's and
Evolution's Exchange implementation relies upon.

Seems to me that I have connected at work via IMAP. .
I took a knoppix CD in and told kmail to use IMAP and gave it the name
of the local Exchange server.
Perhaps IMAP needs to be turned on in Exchange? I'll try and remember to
ask at work next week.
