Re: [SLUG] SSLUG Meeting

Well, for those who were scared away by the weather last night, we had a
fantastic evening. Robin had all sorts of interesting tales from the
middle and far east. The Logan had all sorts of amusing (and oft witty
and snide) things to say about everything, and Josh Burroughs and myself
chirped in here and their and sipped tasty beer. And then a crowd of
attractive geek girls arrived from New College.

Seeing as how Tuesday seems to attract /huge/ crowds (like 4), is anyone
adverse to doing this on a Thursday next time? The first Thursday of
the month on Odd months only? (thus avoiding things like December)
Although, such formality seems to clash with the very nature of the
SSLUG.

Therefore, I propose the first Thursday of the month...when we feel like it.
:-) Does anyone have any better ideas?

And when are you folks up north going to get your act together and form
the DSLUG? (Dunedin Social Linux User's Group) I've been to the
Dunedin brewery, and am throughly impressed.
