I think I posted what you are referring to. However, your conclusion is so far
removed from my words that I can't be certain you are referring to anything
I've written in the past quarter century or so.

My exact words were:

That's the whole posting. If I assume that you understand the effect a
question mark has on the meaning of a sentence, I must conclude that your
mind was made up before you ever got to the second sentence or that you
failed to read it at all. Possibly both.

If you want to cast aspersions on my expertise in terrorist matters, I'll help
you. I claim none because I have none. Neither do you. Judging from the way
the so-called 'war on terrorism' appears to be going, I am convinced that no
one does.

Nope, I don't have a clue about how to control terrorism ... much less
eliminate it.

But what does that have to do with noticing a similarity between an older
story and this one?

Your perception that I was denouncing you, or anyone else, was entirely that:
your perception. I'm sorry you took what I wrote that way, but I am only
responsible for the words I actually wrote, not your perception.

Those words did not denounce, they questioned. There is a big difference. You
might want to review that difference.
