yes, I must say Ian usually hits the nail on the head but the part about
syncing the OS clock to the HW clock (/sbin/hwclock --systohc) is good
to know too!! and I wouldn't have gotten that had paul not shared his
infinite wisdom...umm err opinion. ;^)
