Evolution wasn't stable nor fast enough a year ago to really use - it
might be worth giving another try.
Apple's iMail simply doesn't cut it for me.
I tried kmail for a while - it was about as stable as Mozilla, though
not as fast with mail load.
Mozilla still wasn't fast enough for my needs, and was somewhat unstable
at times.
Thunderbird is quickly becoming my mail client of choice. It appears
"fast enough", and it rarely crashes.
Mutt is 100% stable, and blindingly fast when run against a local mail
spool.
Why can't someone make a 100% stable GUI MUA with usable speed for a
heavy email workload?
