I live in Palm River, every time I call them the CO seems to move a bit
further away from me, the first time I called back in '98 it was 19K feet
from me, was told to call back in 6 months. At the 6 month call it was
20K feet out. Several calls later it had move to 22K feet and is now back
to about 21K feet.
Unless you are in one of the more "blessed" areas you are up a creek...
And RR is probably the only high speed solution you have. I also run
Vonage over my Brighthouse link, got rid of Verizon and it was worth it
because my phone bill was cut in half.
