But in the licencing agreements where the codecs came from to decode
wmv files it goes on to say it must run on a microsoft authorized
operating system. which states is avail at the system requirements
page at msblahblah.com/windowsmedia.
Also you can not use any wmv that uses the new drm in media 9 codec.
it just locks up mplayer xine you name it.
