Actually I noticed the screen problme only on newer gateways. Never
had a older gateway lcd die out of me that was a tft.
Well I dont need alot of memory to run slackware. or win2k so 256
actually max 288 since the motherboard has 32megs onboard plus two
slots. but for win2k or slackware and dreamweaver mx 2004.
The latitude is for my brother for school work nothing more than
running office xp . Enough said.
