The Latitude would actually be my first choice cause they are very good
laptops.
Gateways I have heard the screens do not usually last that long.
Also the Gateway will not take beyond 256 megs of ram the latitude will take
up to 512.
So while it may be slower the Latitude with the ram will make up alot for
the performance.
