So just yesterday the laptop i ordered my bother via ebay came in and
i am very happy with this purchase. Any way it is a dell latitude cpi
A366xt funny thing is that i ran the normal hardware utils on it in
windows. So I load of sissofts sandra 2004 benchmark and hardware
util. I did a couple of bench marks and this 366 pii is beating out a
k6-3 450 and a PII 400... It does seem to be faster than a friends
PII 400 workstation unit. ( both running win2k) The funny thing is i
cant figure out why. When it comes down to real world benchmarks it
beats the 400mhz PII also. And this not a celeron 400 in the desktop
unit. The funniest thing is just last year i replaced the mother
board in that unit and put in a very nice abit board with the famous
440bx chipset. It is runinng 256 megs of ram. This poor laptop
only has 128 but also runns off the laptop version of the 440bx
chipset. At least it is according to the infromation i have read up
on this model of laptop.

Has anyone seen this before that a laptop is beating out a slighty
faster desktop.
