Got blasted pretty hard here in Lakeland; the eye passed just east of me.
Doesn't look like any damage to our house, but my wife (who's riding it out
at her parents' house with our son) reports that they lost several trees.
Going to venture around the neighborhood here around 9 PM to see if anyone
else has lost anything.
We've already got another tropical depression looming. Looks like Punta
Gorda got leveled.
