Ahhh, thanks!! My perplexity is resolved! You are right, the mailing
list is a huge monster, especially if you are just lurking. I typically
get my information about the newest kernel by reading the change log. I
forgot about kerneltrap!

I am amused by Linus trying out the new naming scheme to see if it would
break the scripts! I do things such as that all the time. ;-)
