Are you going to use a router / firewall? If so set up your ether-net
with the proper gateway configured (usually 192.168.1.1) Verizon DNS
servers are

If not using gateway / firewall then set up your ether-net with dhcp.
You can set up client programs to keep track if your dynamic ip address
to keep your voip connection established.
