Yes, this makes for a really good discussion and research project. When I
first played with X over a network, I was expecting better performance than
VNC, yet I found worse.

Is there anything else that can be done to speed-up redraws or keep certain
things persistent? Like, if a window is made and moved, just redisplay,
don't redraw, or something like that.
