my /dev/usb/tts/1 character device is managed by devfs and is related to the
loading/unloading of my visor module. if there is inactivity with the usb
connection, var/log/messages says my usb device times out and
the /dev/usb/tts/1 device disappears. how do I make it stick around
permanently until the usb device is unplugged? devfsd.conf doesn't seem to
have anything mentioning this. thanks!
