But maybe slackware is just over optimized for installing as it
refuses to use a X based gui installer.
KDE 3.3 is noticeably faster than 3.2
that was pulling kde 3.3 from the testing directory of /slackware current.
I think they really focused on speed with 3.3 as everything is faster.
