Ack, that's still not a good relationship of 2D to 3D.

It's like comparing a truck (or even a hovercraft) to an aircraft.

The 2D truck is more popular, there are more variants to do more jobs,
often carrying more of a load for less cost.

But in many cases, only the 3D moving aircraft will do, even though its
is lesser used, you have fewer options and other details, with a higher
initial cost, it is more cost effective for many jobs than the 2D truck.
