You mean there is someone in Slug that gives a nod to
BSD ? ..
Actually James.. There used to be a TUG around Tampa
years ago. THere are no meetings.. rarely a mention,
and actually finding a person to just talk to about it
is a bit of a stretch.
The above is only my personal experience with it.
The guy who used to run the tug was named Scott
-something or other ( I am bad with names too.. )
The last BSD install disk I got was Free BSD 5 out
of a BSD Book that had the install disk in it.. that..
wouldnt ya know.. didnt work :( I was highly
disappointed.. I have one FreeBSD4.4 box that I have
been keeping around.. but I really have not used.
The one thing that I can say about BSD is that they
are at least making the attempt to keep their installs
under 50 disks LOL..
