Well thus far I narrowed my choices down to 2
software packages.
1) Denemo - This seems like a fairly nice piece of
softare has all the basic features adding staves, key
signatures, note placement stem placement etc. It
seems to have a bit of a learning curve to it.
2) GScore. Gscore looks, at least from the
documentation to be exactly what I would like to have.
unfortunately from 2 different downloads, I can not
seem to get the silly file to untar itself correctly.
very strange. We shall see how that goes.
I will let you know more as I move forward.
