By "official" I assume you mean the repositories other than those in the
stock "Fedora Core." Unfortunately, there seems to be _little_ support
for x86-64 outside of "Fedora Core." Fedora Extras, Livna.ORG, etc...
are majorly _lacking_ in x86-64 packages.
For the most part, you typically _can_ rebuild for x86-64 from SRPMS.
But because volunteers haven't been offering x86-64 so packages can be
well tested and released, all we have are the x86-64 packages that come
out of Red Hat and the Fedora team in the stock "Fedora Core."
I.e., no one but Red Hat is putting in the effort. Sad.
I hope I can change that once I get a x86-64 of my own. So far I've
only had servers to play with and they were running Linux/x86, other
than only basic, rudimentary x86-64 testing I was able to do.
