Yes, I'm using it every day on my home workstation. It went without a
hitch for me. The only heads-up is that the installer defaults to the
main debian repository list, so you have to hand-enter your mirror of
choice from http://alioth.debian.org/docman/view.php/30192/21/debian-amd64-howto.html

Hardware:
Tyan S2875 motherboard (AMD-8xxx chipsets) w/onboard e1000-based nic
2x AMD Opteron 240
1G Crucial Registered/ECC PC3200 DDR RAM
NVidia FX5600
Some CMedia-based soundcard, I forget which
2x Samsung SP1213N HD
NEC ND-2500A DVD+-RW

Note: I started with the MSI K8-Master2-FAR, but after sending two(!)
of them back, I switched to the Tyan board.
