I'm running FC3 and am having the following problem. I can't play any
DVDs (either as root or regular user) and sometimes (haven't figured out
a pattern yet) I have to force the cd-drive (same hardware as DVD drive)
to eject after having ripped a music CD (my own CDs for my own pleasure,
needless to say). I get and numerous "/dev/hdc busy" or "failed to
access /dev/hdc" and various other error messages.
Could this possibly (hopefully) be a software problem? This is on an IBM
TP A30.
