I am getting ready to purchase a new laptop. I am leaning towards an IBM
X or T series.
I haven't decided whether to go ultra small or just normal size.
I am going to install Fedora Core 3.
Is there any reason I SHOULDN'T buy an IBM laptop?
I have a old 600E laptop and I like the feel of it and have handled
other IBM laptops and they feel rugged
and seem to hold up well.
I am just curious what other linux users think. It seems that the newer
kernels are handling laptops like a champ ( from what I am reading). Are
there any major pitfalls that I am missing?
