have two directories lets call them /srv/a and /srv/b. They are both
root filesystems copied via rsync from another computer. I would like
to generate a diff between them but am running into a symlink problem.
It seems that the symlinks are setup to run off the former filesystem
root. Is there any way to diff these directories?
The end result I would like to do is generate patches that I can apply
to a base file system.
