I was told by a tech rep that their newer models have detachable antennae.
I don't recall the spec, conceivably the antennae could be located and some
length from the unit (with the right kind of cable (RG6, 58, or 59, etc.)
They spouted 1 mile coverage (granted open distance. A 1/4 mi (diameter)
should be well within their spec. Admittedly, I have not tried this far a
shoot so I cannot attest that it will work.

I for one am curious as to the outcome. Keep us posted.

They do not carry bridges, Mike is going to need a bridge up on a support
structure in order to do the job, their wireless router with the
appropriate antenna
on the far end may do the job, but he is still going to have to house
it in a box
and feed it power and 10basewhatever from the cable/dsl end of things.
