Hi Patrick!

We have been batting around the idea of neighborhood Wi-Fi at our
neighborhood association meetings. It seems to me that there is even
stronger gear out there, but I haven't seen it, just heard that it is in
use "out West" (California, presumably) Supposedly there is something
mounting on a pole that would cover the whole neighborhood, 500 homes,
from one cable or DSL link. Does anyone know? That would be what would
really do it.

Regards,

Pete
