I found the files listed on
http://forums.cdcovers.cc/archive/index.php/t-121737.html and opened the
first one. Son of a gun, it _does_ open. It opened as the text against
nothing, so I'm not sure if that's what it's supposed to look like.

Maybe Adobe gave out the specs for reading them (.psd files) but not for
writing them?

Or if you do change the layers, you'll have to save in .xcf (Gimp native).
